Infographics:
The first humans to observe this landscape
Up to 2,000 years of human history in the wetland

For Parque Humedal Río Maipo, located on Chile's central coast, a park was created to protect the country's natural beauty and its thousands of inhabitants.
Both infographics have a size of 35 x 200 cm. They were created by working together with the Foundation's team, in order to capture the details of past times.

As far as we know, dozens of generations of the Bato, Llolleo and Aconcagua cultures were born, ran, hunted and died on the banks of the mouth of the Maipo River, developing complex and interesting ways of life associated with this territory.
Birds are not the only ones who found an ideal habitat in this wetland. There are archaeological remains from up to 2,000 years ago of various human groups that took advantage of the resources and services provided by this rich ecosystem.
